Letter 2 – “‘Picturae” Video Script with vocabulary

Calpurnia in Campāniā est. Plīnius autem abest. Plīniō absente, Calpurnia est trīstis.  Illa absentiā Plīniī afficitur. Absentiā eius maximē afficitur, quod eum amat.

Calpurnia ūnum sōlācium habet. Libellōs Plīniī habet. Calpurnia Plīnium absentem tenēre nōn potest. Potest autem libellōs Plīniī tenēre. Libellī Pliniī possunt Calpurniam cōnsōlārī.

Calpurnia libellum sūmit et legit. Dum lēgit epistulam, epistula eam cōnsōlātur. Dum epistulam legit, illa absentiā Plīniī nōn afficitur. Dum libellōs tenet et legit, hoc sōlācium habet.

Calpurnia Plīnium absentem requīrit. Hoc grātum est Plīniō. Plīnius etiam ūnum sōlācium habet: epistulās Calpurniae.

Calpurnia Plīniō absentī multās epistulās mīsit. Quamquam Plinius multās epistulās habet, plūrēs epistulās vult. Vult Calpurniam scrībere et mittere plūrēs epistulās. Vult legere plūrēs epistulās. 

Dum Plinius lēgit epistulās quās Calpurnia mīsit, uxor nōn abest. Dum epistulās legit, absentiā uxōris nōn afficitur.

 Ergō Plīnius epistulās Calpurniae identidem legit.
